Rocking Chair Fix my Style

So here, I found a rocking chair at the curb -in fact I found parts that may have been a rocking chair. I still picked it up, you never know, one day I might use it or may need the wood for something. The back- and armrest was already used for a bench that I built, but the feet, what am I going to make with those?

Some of my material sits in my garage for quite a while until I have an idea what I could make and others get done right away. These feet waited a couple of months and I was close to actually throw them away.

But then, I just started, not knowing what it will be and not knowing if it will be comfortable to sit on or not. First, I connected the feet:

..and then built the seating surface:

The first time, I sat on it, it broke. Maybe because I need to lose weight? I decided, I couldn’t wait this long, so I started form zero again, and made the seating surface stronger and supported it with extra wood:

I know, I always forget to take pictures, so I am missing some in-between-steps. Chair painted, cushion added and newly upholstered:

And finally, added my logo:

I sat on it (and it didn’t break) and it is VERY comfortable. Do you know those exercise balls? It kinda feels like that when you sit on it. I will bring it to the Third Monday Trade Days (McKinney) in July and I am hoping to find a great new owner.
