And then there are all the small jobs and projects I am working on but who don’t really make it on my blog… They can be time-consuming, so I thought some of them deserve to be in the spotlight of today’s post!

Like this wood bowl that I upcycled into a pet bed:
I found the bowl (it had a crack on the side) along the street, I guess, the people who threw it away didn’t have any use for it because of the crack. But I’ve seen the potential! Carved out one side, sanded it, and…

…painted stripes and sewed a cute little pillow. Done! It already found a new owner; it went to a young lady’s mini poodle. I should have asked her to send a picture with her little k9 in it!

At the same place, I found this cute little vintage hat. It looked very dirty and the flowers were way past their time, too.

So, I removed the filthy plant garden and gave the hat some good cleaning. I should add some lace or what do you think?
